Oswego Business Wide Open Custom Plastics Inc. showcased in Southeast Kansas Living Magagzine

Ben Coppock, owner of ., demonstrates how to remove a fairing (a structure added to reduce drag) from a motorcycle in his company’s showroom. Eagles Among Us

Oswego resident, Pete Reynolds,  snapped a photo of numerous airborne eagles taking up residence near the Horse Lake area east of Oswego.  The photo and an accompanying story appear in the Spring 2010 edition of  Southeast Kansas Magazine.  This magazine is available for checkout at the Library.

2009 Kansas Reads – The Virgin of Small Plains by Nancy Pickard

2009 Kansas Reads begins January 29 thru March 15,  2009.  This a statewide reading project sponsored by the Kansas Center for the Book. The book selected, The Virgin of Small Plains by Nancy Pickard, was chosen for its broad-based appeal that could encourage and sustain discussion.  The Virign of Small Plains is also the Oswego Public Library Book Club selection
