Neosho Height teacher, Kristen Steves, gave to the Library bookmarks that had been colored by her class for Library patrons to use with their holiday readings.  Great talent and what a great idea!  Pictured are just a few of the bookmarks left for patrons to pick up. The Library will be holding a book sale during the Oswegofest.  The book sale will be located downtown!  Stop in for some good books at a great price.  There will also be DVD’s, VHS and audio tapes.  The sale will be from 8:30 am to 2 pm.  See you there!

Conserve water!  Just by turning off the water when you brush your teeth and save around 4 gallons of per year per person.

The Oswego Public Library will try  post a money saving (penny pinching) idea each week. So here is #1:  The recycling of one aluminum can saves enough energy to power a TV for three hours; recycling one glass bottle powers a lightbulb for four hours.
