Nancy also reported that Delmar Borntraeger will be able to construct new railings for the north entrance and that Fire Wrench Forge has sent drawings for the embellishment of the railings.
The secretary reported that the city had approved the reappointment of Susan Johnson and the appointment of Jamie Gott and Carol Strickland to the library board.
Carol McLeod handed in a letter of resignation from the board as she is moving to Carthage in May.
Discussion was held about a possible replacement for her. Kristin will contact Beth Fowler to see if she would be interested in serving on the board.
Election of officers was held with the following results: President-Kristin Redburn, Secretary-Jennie Green, and Treasurer-Susan Johnson.
The May regular meeting was moved to May 18 at 5:30.
Susan moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded and carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:32.
Respectfully submitted,
